Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most popular. He was in Shottas a film that has become a legend with Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album like Father Like Son. This was followed by a number of singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) and Sensimelia. These all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees to perform Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem, an international concert that was held in Miami. Marley performed at the Cameo Theatre which was live streamed across 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bid war. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997. He then completed an album with label partner P.M. Dawn who sang the song Gotta Movin...
